The participants of the youth social action can improve the awareness in problems, to participate along with others in preventive maintenance and struggle against spread of HIV/AIDS/STI and the Tuberculosis in republic provided by SISF jointly with partners.
On July 1st at 16.00pm in the capital of republic in park of Bobur in the frames of SISF project «Healthy youth» the youth social action under the name «We are for a healthy lifestyle - join us!» will take a place. The Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF) jointly with partners carries out a third year the similar informal action, following one of directions of their activity. This results from the fact that the problem of HIV/AIDS/STI and TB in Uzbekistan becomes actual and hazard to youth health.
The youth action in Tashkent gives rise to project SISF «Healthy youth» - «Здоровая Молодежь», - which after capital realizes in Navoi, Urgench, Termez, Karshi, Andizhan, Namangan, Fergana, Kokand, Samark and Bukhara. The project purpose - working out and introduction of educational techniques and the program against AIDS. The project directed on involving of active youth at the age from 15 to 25 years old to movement «Healthy youth», by carrying out of trainings, consultations and youth social actions.
Participated partners in realization of the given project along with SISF - Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan, the Center of Youth Initiatives «Kelajak ovozi», UNAIDS, USAID, the Uzbek Association on Reproductive Health, NESTLE, U-cell.
In frames of the youth action in park of Bobur and then in other cities where the project is realized, interactive competitions, quizes, children's performance and game, i.e. multifunctional actions «We are for a healthy lifestyle - join us!» will take a place. The purpose is to involve youth in conducting a healthy lifestyle problems HIV/AIDS/STI and TB. All actions will pass in parallel and territorially nearby from each other, in a «non stop» mode. It will allow to visitors to pass maximum of competitions, to see children's representations and other events of the action. Uniqueness of the given informal action consists that the youth will be the active participant of all events. On the action will be distributed a card of the participant for passage a competitions (routing sheet) and a questionnaire. The most active participants of the action will be awarded by SISF, trade marks «NESTLE PURE LIFE» and «U-cell».
Thus, through interactive, informal methods the information will be handling over to participants. This high knowledge of problems in HIV/AIDS/STI and TB and conduct a healthy lifestyle are the best strategy to struggle against these problems.
Carrying out of the youth action was preceded by a seminar-training in Tashkent with assistance of Project HOPE (USAID) where have taken a part two most active representatives from each target city. Project HOPE (USAID) actively promotes the measures undertaken by the state, on formation physically and spiritually healthy generation.
